Assistant Manager

The Assistant Manager reports directly to the Deputy Director. This position is primarily responsible for providing support for advancement and alumni communication, processes and donor stewardships. This is a temporary position with a one-year contract.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in generating donor and alumni communications materials.
  • Provide support for organising advancement and alumni related events as needed.
  • Provide support in advancement and alumni operations as needed.
 
Requirements
  • University Degree or tertiary related equivalent.
  • One to two years of relevant experience in a marketing communications role in fundraising for a university, institute of higher learning environment or non-profit organisations would be strongly favoured.
  • A very strong writer, PowerPoint expert and a good listener who can accurately translate concepts/ideas/discussions into print/electronic material.
  • Hands-on experience in events management.
  • Meticulous, resourceful and a team player.
  • Excellent interpersonal and rapport building skills.
